DRD CAR RENTAL CO L.L.C

1. General Requirements

  • The renter must be at least 18 years old for standard vehicles and 21 - 25 years old for luxury or premium vehicles.

  • A valid driving license and passport or Emirates ID must be provided at the time of rental.

  • The renter agrees to comply with all UAE traffic laws.

2. Rental Period

  • The minimum rental period is 24 hours.

  • Late returns will incur additional charges. A grace period of 30 minutes may apply.

  • The rental period starts and ends based on the times mentioned in the rental agreement.

3. Payment & Security Deposit

  • Payment must be made in advance via cash, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

  • A security deposit is required before vehicle delivery.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 21 working days after the rental ends, provided there are no fines, damages, or violations.

4. Insurance

  • Basic insurance (third-party coverage) is included in the rental price.

  • Additional insurance (full coverage, collision damage waiver) is available for extra protection.

  • Insurance does not cover:

    • Driving under the influence

    • Off-road driving

    • Unauthorized drivers

    • Reckless driving or traffic violations

5. Traffic Fines & Violations

  • The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, Salik (toll fees), and other violations during the rental period.

  • Fines will be deducted from the security deposit or charged directly.

6. Fuel Policy

  • The car must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of delivery.

  • Refueling charges will apply if the car is returned with less fuel.

7. Mileage Policy

  • Each rental has a daily mileage limit.

  • Additional charges will apply if the mileage limit is exceeded.

8. Vehicle Condition & Use

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered.

  • Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

  • Off-road driving, racing, and towing are not allowed.

9. Vehicle Delivery & Collection

  • We offer vehicle delivery and collection within Dubai.

  • Additional charges may apply for other areas.

  • Vehicles will be inspected and signed off by both the customer and the company during delivery and return.

10. Accidents & Damage

  • In case of an accident, the renter must:

    • Contact our support team immediately.

    • Obtain an official police report.

  • Without a police report, the renter is fully responsible for all damages.

11. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a one-day rental charge.

12. Customer Obligations

  • The renter must:

    • Provide accurate personal and driver details.

    • Ensure only authorized drivers use the vehicle.

    • Avoid using the vehicle for prohibited activities, including illegal transport or racing.

13. Company Rights

  • The company reserves the right to:

    • Cancel the rental agreement if terms are violated.

    • Refuse rental service in case of missing or incorrect documentation.

    • Apply additional charges for damages, fines, or extra mileage.
