Refund policy

1. Vehicle Return Policy

1.1 Standard Return Time:
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed-upon date, time, and location as stated in the rental agreement.

1.2 Early Return:
If the vehicle is returned before the end of the agreed rental period, no refund will be issued for the unused days, unless approved under special circumstances by management.

1.3 Late Return:
A late return may result in additional hourly or daily charges as per the rental agreement. Please contact us in advance if you require an extension.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be applicable under the following conditions:

  • Vehicle not available: If a reserved vehicle is unavailable and no suitable alternative is offered.

  • Prepaid Booking Cancellation: Refunds are subject to our cancellation terms (see below).

  • Security Deposit: Fully refundable after vehicle inspection, typically within 21 working days, provided no fines, damages, or fuel/cleaning charges apply.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Short-Term Rentals (Daily/Weekly):

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund.

  • Cancellation within 24–48 hours: 50% refund.

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund.

3.2 Long-Term Rentals (Monthly or More):

  • Cancellation more than 5 days before pickup: Full refund.

  • Cancellation within 2–5 days: 50% refund.

  • Cancellation less than 2 days: No refund.

Note: Refunds on long-term prepaid rentals are not given once the rental has begun unless there is a proven vehicle issue caused by DRD Car Rental LLC.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Customer fails to provide valid documents or meet rental eligibility criteria.

  • Early termination by the renter without company approval.

  • No-show at the time of pickup.

  • Breach of rental terms and conditions.

  • Damage, fines, or loss due to renter negligence.

5. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed through the original method of payment within 7–14 business days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
